Economic Empowerment Program equips African women and survivors of sexual violence and trafficking with job training, vocational skills, and entrepreneurship support, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity.
Through a network of partners, survivors access workforce development, financial literacy, and business mentorship for long-term stability.
We offer monthly support groups and community gatherings to combat isolation, creating safe spaces for healing, connection, and growth.
Through movement, mindfulness, and shared cultural experiences, survivors regain confidence and find a caring, supportive community—paving the way to healing, growth, self-sufficiency, and a life free from coercion and exploitation.
The City of Peace Safe House is a secure and supportive refuge for pregnant and teen mothers who have survived sexual violence and are homeless or at risk. It offers temporary housing and holistic support, creating a safe space where survivors can heal, regain control of their lives, and plan for the future.
The program empowers them to rebuild confidence and work toward independence and self-sufficiency through trauma-informed care, life-skills training, and community-based support groups.
